Dear Friends:
Spring is almost here, and along with it comes the
return of the beautiful ranunculus fields in
Carlsbad, California. In the spring months of March
and April, The Flower Fields® attracts over 150,000
visitors who come to experience the striking bands
of color at this phenomenal event.
The Flower Fields would like to invite you to apply
for our Two Arts & Crafts Fair on Saturdays, April
12th - 13th and April 19th
- April 20th, 2008 from 9:00 AM to 6:00
PM. Our Arts & Crafts Fair will feature an array of
outstanding paintings, photography, pottery, and
crafts created by local artisans. While strolling
among the arts and crafts, our guests will be able
to relax and enjoy wonderful music performed by
talented musicians. Your participation in this
popular two-day event will give you the opportunity
to present your work to over 6,000 visitors each
day.
BOOTH DETAILS
This year The Flower Fields® will supply a tent
space of 10 x10, however you must supply your own
tables and chairs. If you do not have your own
tables and chairs, they can be rented from Kathleen
at Allies Party Rental (760) 591-4314. Exhibitors
will be responsible for delivery, handling, set up
and removal of their displays and materials. Each
exhibitor will receive two free vendor passes
for each event day (not to exceed 4 passes total).
Any additional helpers (above two people per day)
will be required to purchase a ticket prior to
entering The Flower Fields.
For your convenience, we will allow vendors to set
up early on Friday evening, April 11th and Friday
evening April 18th. Overnight
security will be provided throughout the event
weekends.

The event fee is $200 per weekend, and applicants must send a
slide or photo of their craft(s) with the
application and the fee. Approval of applications will be at the sole discretion of CB Ranch
Enterprises (The Flower Fields®). For your
protection, please submit slides in a plastic
sleeve. Images will be returned to you upon final
selection of event participants. You must also
include your California Seller’s Permit Number,
issued by the California State Board of
Equalization, on your application or it will not be
accepted.
The Application, Event Fee and slides/photographs of
your work must be mailed to us by no later than
January 25, 2008. Please make checks payable to

Mandatory liability insurance is included in the
cost of your event fee. Please sign the attached
Liability Release Form and return it to us with your
application.
APPLICATION SELECTION/ACCEPTANCE
Acceptance of your craft will be at the sole
discretion of the Arts & Crafts Fair jury committee,
and will be based on the criteria listed on the
attached Exhibitor Information Sheet.
If your craft is accepted, your check will be
processed and a confirmation letter will be mailed
to you, along with any photos/slides that you
provided to us, by February 15, 2008. Please note
that NO FEES WILL BE REFUNDED AFTER ACCEPTANCE OF
YOUR APPLICATION.
If your application is not accepted, your check and
any photos/images that you mailed to us will be
returned to you by February 15, 2008.
Due to the popularity of this event, we are limited
to the number of applicants we will be able to
accept, and a waiting list will be established as
necessary.
